On January 29th, the members of EAR and their friends once again got together to roll away those winter blues.  This year’s event was held at Farview Lanes where the facility was only open to us. Those attending enjoyed three hours of unlimited bowling, some friendly competition, food and drink, and, of course, some good old-fashioned FUN.

Congratulations to Phil Yandow, Tom Zelke, Gary Means and Mike Beuter who each received a trophy for Highest Team Score of 870; Jim McCarthy and Nick Anschutz tied with the Top Men’s score of 247 and Ann Plucknette took Top Women’s score with a 196, each receiving a trophy.  John Gajor, Stephanie Sage, Christine Evangelista and Ann Plucknette each received a playful, backwards bowling trophy for overall lowest team score as they were wished better luck next year.  The biggest winner of the evening, however, was the Scholarship program that took in $245 to the fund from the 50/50 raffle with Terri Hoover receiving the other half.
