Referral Program

The Electrical Association of Rochester provides a Referral Program as a service to the community for those people who need to locate an electrician.  We have a list of companies who are interested in referrals for residential and/or commercial work.  All companies have a license in the City of Rochester [the only municipality in the Greater Rochester that requires one], are members in good standing of the Electrical Association of Rochester, have been in business for at least two years [three years for commercial referrals] and have successfully completed the screening required by the association in order to participate.

We receive approximate 300 inquiries per year and each referral includes three contractors although individuals can get more if they wish.

At this time, the association has elected not to publish the list on this web site.  This is for two reasons: 1] We want to have an idea of how many times we have referred a contractor [a capability we don't currently have on our web site], and 2] It is important that we treat all contractors equally when giving out referrals [a posture we cannot control on the web site].
